Aber Rose was one of the fortunate few to avoid captivity, but suffered greatly during the war as she witnessed many of her family members being killed by rebels. She also was unable to attend school and often went long periods of time without food during the war. As a crocheter at KKU, Rose is now able to provide for her children and dreams of sending them all to school.
DREAM FOR THE FUTURE
“I dream of sending my children to school since I never had that opportunity.”
