At Krochet Kids international we are always on the lookout for new energy and support for our work. Interns play a key role in helping us further what we do as an organization and in expanding our ability to fulfill our mission: to empower people to rise above poverty.
SALES + ACQUISITION INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organizing and submitting purchase orders from wholesale accounts
- Assisting with lead and account sales calls and emails
- Assisting with managing account orders and providing customer service
- Managing and organizing samples for wholesale accounts
- Keeping online resources up to date for sales team
- Help organize and run events throughout the term
- Acquiring new leads and generating potential leads and potential events to participate in
INTERNSHIP DURATION + DETAILS
- Summer and Fall terms are open for application. Can be combined as 6 month internship
- Summer term (June 19 – September 15), 20 hours per week for 12 weeks
- Fall term (September 18 – December 20). 20 hours per week for 13-14 weeks
- Duration of internship is flexible based on school semester/quarter
- This is a non-paid internship, class credit only
REQUIREMENTS:
- Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a passion for organization
- Strong and dependable team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Salesforce a plus (not required)
- Experience with WordPress or other e-commerce experience a plus (not required)
- Able to provide own laptop
- Able to commute and drive to events if needed
- A current student receiving college credit for internship
