Let’s Break Up with Fast Fashion, Together

You're a different person. Your clothes should reflect it.

If you are reading this post, you are most likely well into your journey of exploring what it means to shop for your clothing in an ethical manner.  Or perhaps a friend sent this to you and you are just learning for the first time.

No matter where this finds you, there are steps you can be taking to improve the relationship you have with the clothing you wear.  WHY?  Because fashion — and specifically fast fashion — is harming our planet and often treating clothing producers very poorly.  Thus, our fashion choices are an opportunity to reinforce a more positive view of humanity.

WhatTheFashion.net is “a community dedicated to building a better future for ethical fashion”. They have put out a simple pledge to BREAK UP WITH FAST FASHION. We have signed it and encourage you to do the same.  It's a simple step in the right direction to begin using fashion as a force for good.

There are 3 simple commitments you make when you sign the pledge:

  1. PLEDGE to not purchase new “fast fashion” in 2019.

  2. LOVE the clothes you already have.

  3. When you need to buy new items, SHOP RESPONSIBLY.

Sign the pledge and get plugged in with a community of likeminded people who are looking clean up their closets in this year & BEYOND!
