Recap: Live Interview w/ Adam Thomson

Forming Programs That Result In Lasting Change

As a part of our ongoing celebration of the 10 year anniversary of our global empowerment work, we wanted to include the insights from a key member of our team we have yet to hear from. Adam Thomson has been involved with the work of Krochet Kids intl. since day one. He was on the ground on the very first day of crochet training in Uganda in 2007, and he was the one to do all of the feasibility research when we were considering a second project location in South America. Needless to say, Adam has played a significant role throughout the history of our work, however, there has been one aspect of his contribution that has truly been most important. Adam was the member of our team who was a Cultural Anthropologist, by education and how he naturally interacts with the world around him. He has worked closely with our global teams on the development and execution of our social impact programs. In this live interview, we invite you into the discussion to hear about a number of important topics that relate to our impact work. They include -- but are not limited to -- the following discussion items...
1) The early development of our work. 2) The joys and challenges of working cross culturally with our global teams. 3) What the future of our work holds as we grow.
We hope you enjoy the conversation and welcome you to contribute your thoughts in the comments below or on our Facebook page.
