There have been many milestones in the last 10 years, but one that changed the course of our retail business was getting an order from Nordstrom stores. Leading up to this pivotal moment, we had only several retailers and most of them were coffee shops and small local boutiques. Once the reality of this huge opportunity settled in, we realized we had A LOT of work to do. This was a huge turning point for us both as a brand and an organization. Partnering with Nordstrom allowed us to grow by introducing us to new customers and supporters and the volume of orders helped us bring even more women into our program, some of which have since graduated and are now owning their own successful businesses and providing for their families.
