T Magazine – Asked & Answered

T – the New York Times Style Magazine – recently came and did a photo shoot with our co-founders for a featured called Style to a T. If you would like to view a hard copy version of the feature you can pick up the Sunday edition of the New York Times this weekend (March 18th).

Functional Adult Literacy (FAL) Training

“The ladies at Krochet Kids love to learn. They are constantly growing and taking hold of all of the trainings that we offer.”

“F.A.L. is the most recent training that we’ve started. Our program mentors have gone through their own training so that they are better prepared to teach English to adults rather than using a curriculum for children. Here is a peek into our first class. We’re super excited that we’ve had to split the teaching times into 2 or 3 sessions because of the huge number of ladies that are ready to further their English skills.”

[VIDEO] EMPOWERMENT BY PROPAGANDA

This was another piece that we highlighted at our gala events earlier this month. We collaborated with Propaganda of Humble Beast to create an original piece surrounding the concept of empowerment. As an organization, we strive to empower our ladies to rise above poverty. Through confidence and education, we are able to do this.

The video highlights the very heart of our organization. By reaching into our own hearts, we are able to extend ourselves to others and inspire them to come to life. This is the driving factor of everything we do here at Krochet Kids international, and we ask everyone to humbly extend your hearts with us.
