At one point, Lawach Beatrice had lost the will to live after being mistreated and abandoned by both her father and her husband. Today, she is excelling in her finance classes and being enabled to support herself and her children with the money she earns and saves through the program. Her most recent success: purchasing a bicycle through the savings and loans program.
