Lapolo Irene perfectly embodies her own definition of love: caring for and protecting others. After she and her sisters were abducted and held in captivity by the LRA, Irene dreamt of building a better life for herself and her family. As a beneficiary for KKU, Irene is able to support her family and send her younger siblings to school and hopes to start a business that will generate supplemental income so that she can continue to grow in her generosity.
