Laker Florence was once haunted by a mental illness that kept her incapacitated for thirteen years. Today, she is able to support herself and her two children with the money that she has made at KKU. She hopes to give her children the best education possible so that they will succeed in their own lives.
DREAM FOR THE FUTURE
“My future plan is to educate my children to university level, buy a piece of land and build for them a house so that when the Lord calls me someday my children will have some place to stay.”
FAVORITE THING ABOUT NORTHERN UGANDA
“The best thing about Northern Uganda is the prevailing peace which has enabled families to be reunited and for the Acholi land to be developed.”
MESSAGE TO KKi
“I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to the KKi/KKU staff for their support and for making a difference in the lives of the women in Northern Uganda, may God bless them.”
