Sunday was abandoned by her father and was left in the care of her mother who was without a source of income. Because of the lack of money, her education and future were put on pause. Sunday tried to make a living my selling roasted maize by the side of the road but the amount of money she earned could not support her entire family. The KKU program has not only given her the resources to afford all of her family’s basic needs, but she has also been able to save some of her income for her own small business.
DREAM FOR FUTURE
“My future plan is to acquire a plot of land for my family and also support my husband in paying the children’s school fees. I also want to continue with my IGA (small business) so that I can supplement my income from crocheting.”

I recently recieved a beautiful gift that you created. “The Betty” hat from my sister for my birthday in yellow, my FAVORITE color. On my birthday I also received a yellow scarf that matched the beautiful hat you made me perfectly. However, my cousin knitted this scarf for me.
