After the death of her father, Grace was mistreated by her aunt, subjected to hard labor, and forbidden to see her own mother. Fortunately, with the help of a good Samaritan, she was able to sneak away. When her mother became ill and was sent to the hospital, Grace became the care giver where there was much responsibility and little money. The KKU program has been a godsend to her. She is now able to save, feed her family, pay school fees, access health care, and even afford other luxuries every once and a while.
