Kevin lost her parents and was abducted during an attack on her village by the rebel army. After being in captivity for nine months, Kevin was lucky enough to escape during one of the village raids and later joined her siblings to live with her aunt who had been taking in many orphans. With determination, she soon took up the task of trying to feed all of the children including her siblings. Eventually, she enrolled in a tailoring school and got connected with KKU where she now has been able to pay for her sister’s school fees, help her grandmother, and pay for her child’s medical fees.
