Shortly after the birth of her second child, Acen Betty’s husband passed away and his family claimed guardianship of the children. After years of struggles, Betty has regained control of her family and her life. With the money that she has earned as a seamstress for KKU, Betty has been able to return to school and create a savings that she hopes to put toward starting her own business and hosting a traditional marriage ceremony for herself and her new husband.
