What's it Worth?: Name Your Price!

FA15_BlogBanner_WW (1)

FOR 24 HOURS ONLY WE'RE ALLOWING YOU TO NAME YOUR PRICE. HERE'S WHY...

What gives a product value? Is it the cost of materials like textiles, buttons, and yarn? Shipping from one location to another? Or could it be something else? The endless desire to seek the lowest price for all our apparel is hurting our planet and the people involved in the process. Rarely do we as consumers pause and consider the true cost of the items we purchase, and the impact it has the all the hands that brought that item into existence. At KK intl., we believe products have value because people do. The women we employ come from impoverished communities and are often extremely vulnerable and at-risk. Through our empowerment model consisting of a job, mentorship, and education, these women are able to reach success that transcends the need for outside aid. Every product comes hand-signed by the woman who made it, so you can always know that each KK intl. product represents a person with a unique story that’s trying to accomplish their dreams. These dreams include providing consistent meals for their families, education for themselves and their children, entrepreneurship, owning a home, and so much more. Today, we want to know what these things are worth to you! For the second year in a row, we are allowing you to choose the price you want to pay for our products. We ask you to consider WHAT'S IT WORTH to know the person who made my product? to know they are being empowered through a consistent job and creating a better life for their children? Today, you tell us what it's worth to you by naming your price on a curated selection of products that empower women across the globe. For the next 24 hours, we're listening.
* This campaign will run on online store from 9 am PT on 9/30/15 to 9 am PT on 10/1/15. * If you are interested in learning more about the global fashion industry, check out this great documentary that our friends made - THE TRUE COST.
