When she was ten years old, Akello Florence was abducted by the LRA and was kept in captivity for twelve years. During her captivity, Florence was often forced to fight against the government soldiers. Since beginning her work with KKU, Florence has been able to save enough money to support her family and send her children to school. She enjoys doing housework and dreams of soon buying land and building a home for herself and her children.
DREAM FOR THE FUTURE
“My dream is to acquire a piece of land where I can settle with my children.”
“Love is something that can unite strangers together, something that can turn a burning heart into laughter and smiles. Love is unconditional.”
MESSAGE TO KKi
“Thank you for the program and for all the good things the program has done and is still doing for our lives. God should bless the works of KKU abundantly so they can spread into other regions and help more vulnerable women.”
