The Power of "Thank You"

We began the #knowwhomovement movement because we recognized there was disconnect between those who create and those who consume products. We believe that products have value because people do and that by bridging the gap between maker and receiver, we can positively impact both parties in a lasting way. To transform this idea into reality, every KK intl. item includes a tag that is hand-signed by the beneficiary who made it. You can view her profile on the website, engage with her individual story, and, most importantly, you can send her a thank-you note for the product she created. The responses to this movement have been overwhelming! People from across the world have sent notes to our beneficiaries in Uganda and Peru thanking them for their work and their story. It’s amazing to witness the mutual encouragement that occurs when people are brought together in an authentic space, and it’s these connections that drive our ability to make a sustainable impact in the lives of those we are empowering.
